Activate Pre-Save Multi-Follow Actions to grow your Audience

Overview

Feature.fm has a functionality called Multi-Follow that enables you to select 1-3 objects that fans will be encouraged to follow or subscribe to immediately upon completion of a pre-save. Multi-Follow is currently supported on Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Audiomack.

Setup instructions

When creating or editing a Pre-Save link, click the plus button below any supported Multi-Follow store as shown in the screenshot below. This will display a pop-up modal where you can add the URL to a single object (e.g. Artist Profile, Playlist). Click Add and be sure to save your changes.

If you have already added the Artist Profile URLs to the Account / Folder settings, this will automatically populate as an object for those stores. Additional objects like User Profiles, Playlists, and Podcast links will need to be added manually.

What the fan experience looks like

After a visitor completes the pre-save, they will see a confirmation message that allows them to confirm their additional follow actions, as well as to opt-in to the artist's mailing list.

Important Notes:

  • At the point that the fan sees this message, the pre-save has already been recorded and will not be lost if the fan does not take any action on this page.
  • All confirmed follow/subscribe choices are executed immediately, regardless of when the music releases.
  • If a fan does not keep the checkbox ticked, their email address will not be collected or shown. This does not impact the pre-save or our ability to deliver music to their library. 
  • There is currently no way to remove this message from the Pre-Save workflow.

Number of follow actions by plan

Pro Marketer, Marketer and Pro Artist subscribers have access to three (3) Multi-Follow actions per DSP. 

Artist subscribers have access to one (1) Multi-Follow action per DSP. 

Basic Artist and free plan subscribers do not have access to this feature.
