You are our voice to the world. As Community and Content Manager, you will manage how we communicate with the world by directly engaging with and growing the community that surrounds The ideal candidate is driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the music industry. You will report to’s Head of Market Development. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a social media and content strategy and plan
  • Grow’s online community
  • Drive buzz and inbound traffic around the brand
  • Promote brand loyalty and advocation for’s mission
  • Create engaging content for the blog and social media channels
  • Secure guest blog posts on partner, company, and other media blogs
  • Include guest blog posts from other music companies, partners, and individuals in’s blog
  • Find other music companies, organizations, writers, YouTubers, etc to interact with in our blog and online
  • Create engaging social campaigns to involved the community (i.e. contests, hashtags, artist picks)
  • Develop the blog strategy with regular articles and columns
  • Manage online playlists and media to help promote our artists’ music
  • Create content for newsletters and triggered email communications
  • Maintain knowledge of industry events, festivals, and conferences in order to include the in strategy
  • Help organize logistics and strategies for in person events


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Entry level+
  • Experience in professional social media and content strategy and can provide examples
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and growth strategies
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Experience in blog posting and can provide writing samples
  • Graphic design skills for content creation
  • Understanding and knowledge of how the music industry works
  • Highly organized
  • Self-starter that wants a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to work daily in our New York City office
  • 4 year BA/BS degree required
  • The programs we use: Excel, Word, Power Point/Sketch/Keynote, HubSpot CRM, Trello, Gmail, Slack, Stripe
