How to Create a SmartLink

To create a new SmartLink, click on “My Smart Links” at the top of the home page.

Click on the “Pink Plus Sign” on the top right corner of page to create a new SmartLink.

Click on “Link Creation”. Then enter your song URL.

You can enter a song link from any streaming service such as Spotify or iTunes, and we will automatically find that song for you in all applicable music services (including stores). You can check and customize the link of each service to make sure it’s correct and points to the right version of your song.

You can turn music services on and off in order to control which services are displayed when someone clicks on your SmartLink.

You can check and customize the link of each service to make sure it’s correct and points to the right version of your song.

When you click on the “Link Settings” tab, you will be able to enter a customized URL for your Smartlink. You may edit and change this URL at any point. It is important to note that once you edit the URL, the original link you created will become defunct anywhere you posted it and you will need to swap it for the updated.

Any image and title attached to the song URL you choose will automatically be included, but you can add your own custom image and title instead.

You can arrange the order in which you would like the streaming services to appear to your fans after they click on your Smartlink by dragging them.

You can also preview how these options will appear to your fans from a mobile or web device, by selecting the proper circle.

You can create/find your retargeting pixel IDs in your Facebook Ads and Google Adwords accounts (learn more). You can use them to create custom audiences in those platforms based on user engagement with your Feature.fm Smartlink. For example, you can target Facebook Ads to people who clicked on your link and listen to Spotify.

Under the “advanced settings” tab, you can enter your Facebook Pixel ID/Adwords Remarketing Pixel ID.

You can also enter the artists in your song and tags such as genres and moods that are relevant to your music. When someone clicks on your link, we'll send this information to your Facebook Ads and Google Adwords accounts so you can include them in your custom audiences. For example, if you include "Pop" you can create an audience of people who like pop music.
